Why should your child go to our Youth Group?

Our programming and the idea behind the Hangar are to have a fun and safe environment.  To grow, have fun learn and have very real conversations.

Most programs are based on having 3 of 4 of the following.  Fun, Faith, Food, Fellowship while always having a Faith element and most of the time food.  We try to create a well-rounded community where we can learn together.

 

We don’t do a lot of huge events that draw a ton of people that’s not us.  We are based on what is called relational youth ministry and do a-lot of small group stuff.  It’s perfectly ok if you want to go to another group that is larger and has higher energy.

 

We are good for both introverts and extroverts.

 

Qualifications to come to our programs: None, just be in 4-12th grade.

 

The Hangar:  The Hangar is our Youth Ministry building and youth community center, we are a ministry of Elmer United Methodist church.

The hangar currently houses a basketball court, video games systems, a giant foosball table, a regulation size foosball table, a full-size pool table, air hockey table, basketball game, ping pong table.

 

Our location is 1 South Main Street, Elmer NJ.  A lot of time googles maps sends you to the wrong place so it’s easier to say across from the Bank of Elmer.
